SC grants bail to Satyam's PWC auditor Tullari Srinivas
- The Supreme Court granted bail to Tullari Srinivas, PWC-auditor of Satyam Computers Limited, involved in a Rs 7,000 crore scandal.
A bench comprising Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan and Justices J M Panchal and B S Chauhan granted bail to Srinivas and directed him not to leave the country without prior permission of the court and also to surrender his passport to the authority concerned.

Justice Srikrishna panel for Telangana - The Centre on Wednesday announced the Telangana panel, which would consider the demand for splitting Andhra Pradesh. The government, however, is yet to frame the terms of reference for the panel headed by B N Srikrishna, a retired judge of the Supreme Court.
[INTERESTING FACT]

The oldest recorded death sentence is contained in the Amherst papyri, dating to 1500 B.C., which listed Egyptian state trials. A teen aged male, convicted of "magic", was sentenced to kill himself by either poison or stabbing.
